The tallow is great quality!! I ordered in a time they must have become extremely busy so it took much longer than expected to receive the tallow but I would definitely purchase again.
Making the switch from rendering all tallow on my own to Cedar Grove has been the best decision we’ve made for our business! This company is amazing to work with and always quick to communicate and give updates on our large orders. The tallow is EXCELLENT quality and much more golden than what I’ve been able to make with the suet I source. It gives our tallow soap & balms a beautiful, golden color. I love the buttery smell and the fact that it has not been stripped of all its goodness. Highly recommend Cedar Grove to any tallow biz looking to focus more on developing products instead of spending all of your time rendering!
I am a long time tallow skincare maker with a very high standard for quality. I dry render my own (lab testing shows that dry rendering is best for preserving nutrients and preventing microbial growth.) But I outsource a good bit of my beef tallow. Lately my local supplier has been sold out so I ordered some from Cedar Grove. It is everything I expected! It's firm, yellow, and mild smelling. I can tell how meticulous Miranda's team is when they clean and renders this tallow. I highly recommend it!
